It is with great sadness and disbelief that Latinas Promoviendo Comunidad/ Lambda Pi Chi Sorority, Inc. announces the loss of one of our Hermanas. Gabby Oberti, Hermana Fhiazanel, succumbed to injuries she sustained in a car accident on February 13, 2014.

Gabby became an Hermana in Spring 2010 through our Lambda Chapter at Rochester Institute of Technology/University of Rochester. Gabby was a vivacious woman who enjoyed spending time with her family and was devoted to her brother. She also dedicated her time to her Hermanas and was an avid runner. Her life ended too soon and learning to live without her is something many of us will struggle with. She will always be remembered for her bright spirit, warm smile, and loving nature.

We humbly request your support as we assist her family through this difficult time by making a donation.
