Latinas Promoviendo Comunidad/ Lambda Pi Chi Sorority, Inc. established the Lambda Pi Chi Foundation in 2019 to support the philanthropic goals of the sorority including funding scholarships, HACER, and LEAAP. The Lambda Pi Chi foundation also supports the community and other organizations that align with the social justice and philanthropic goals of the sorority which are outlined in the foundation’s mission, vision, and goals. Mission Statement

To build an equitable society by creating and advancing initiatives that dismantle barriers impacting historically marginalized communities with an emphasis on the Latino/a/x community.

Goals

1. To develop socially conscious leaders who lift up marginalized communities by providing access to skill-based trainings, community service projects, and civic engagement opportunities

2. To increase awareness, provide resources, and raise funds in order to reduce health inequities affecting underserved populations

3. To provide scholarships for students and professionals from underrepresented communities to advance their educational and/or professional growth

4. To foster career advancement for womxn of color through networking, mentorship, and leadership development.
