We'd like to congratulate Hermana Stephany Ruiz for her Order of Omega Fellowship Award!
Stephany Ruiz, a Graduate Assistant for the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Affairs at the University at
Albany has been awarded a $1,000 Jacque Placette – William J. Brennan Master’s Fellowship by
Order of Omega.
The Fellowship Award was founded to recognize professionals in higher education who exemplify the
ideals of the fraternal movement. Candidates for the Fellowship Award must be employed full-time or
part-time, or a graduate assistant with direct and/or previous direct responsibilities for advising
Fraternity/Sorority Life and/or Order of Omega. Candidates must also be currently enrolled in an
accredited Master’s or Doctoral degree program in Higher Education, Student Personnel, or a related
field.
Since 1985, the Order of Omega has awarded over $1 million in scholarships and graduate fellowships.
