Zeta Chapter Hermanas have once again emerged with several awards at Syracuse University. Most recently our Hermana Fariha Nahmed was honored as one of the recipients of the 2013 Irma Almirall-Padamsee La Fuerza Community Enhancement Award. This award recognizes the contributions of students and their commitment to diversity at Syracuse University. Named after one of our very own Founders, Dr. Irma Almirall-Padamsee, the award also acknowledges student's leadership in initiating and implementing actions that help the campus community increase tolerance and create dialogue among people from diverse cultural groups thereby forging meaningful bridges across entities on the Syracuse University's campus.

The chapter was also honored as one of the recipients of the Chancellor's Silver Cup for Outstanding Chapter. Chancellor's Silver Cup Award recognizes a chapter's outstanding accreditation and efforts as a Greek organization.

The chapter was also awarded NALFO's Outstanding Programming award for the academic year!

Congratulations Hermanas!
