AIDS : How big does it need to get before you take NOTICE!

Sometimes we don't realize how big a small virus like HIV can affect the lives of millions of people. Sometimes we don't act responsibly until it's too late. Sometimes we ignore what is repetitive because we THINK we know all the facts. But do we take enough action to SPREAD AWARENESS. Isn't it selfish to keep what we know about such an infectious disease to ourselves?

DID YOU KNOW...

  1. HIV and AIDS killed over 3,000,000 , and every year the deaths get higher.
  2. A drop of infected blood in the air can kill the virus in less then 45 seconds.
  3. AIDS and HIV infects 8,200 people per day.
  4. Every hour two Americans between the age of 13 and 24 are infected with HIV.

IF YOU DIDN'T AND WOULD LIKE TO LEARN MORE COME JOIN:

THE BETA CHAPTER OF LATINAS PROMOVIENDO COMUNIDAD/LAMBDA PI CHI SORORITY INC. and
THE OMICRON CHAPTER OF OMEGA PSI PHI FRATERNITY INC. as we discuss the realities of HIV/AIDS in the African American Community.
