On April 17, 2010, the National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations (NALFO) held its annual Awards Ceremony.
This year "in recognition of an undergraduate who has demonstrated their commitment to their organization, University Campus and the Latino Fraternity & Sorority Community through their service in leadership positions in their organization, campus and/or the Latino Fraternity & Sorority Community as a whole." NALFO presented its award to our very own:
Sarah Piñon
University of Delaware
Omicron Chapter
* During the 2008-2009 school year, Sarah was the Vice President of Community Relations for Greek Council, which is the governing council of all Panhellenic, IFC, NPHC, NALFO, and Special Interest Greeks at the University of Delaware.
* Holds the position of NALFO Council President.
* Sarah’s in her second year as a Resident Assistant and this year was given a promotion to be the Mentor RA (MRA)
* Is a Blue Hen Ambassador (campus tour guide) and a Student Admissions Officer at UD.
*Has held the position of Vice President/Treasurer for our Omicron Chapter since she joined the organization in the Fall of 2007
