On Thursday, October 2nd, North Carolina State University's Greek Awards Banquet the Rho Chapter of Latinas Promoviendo Comunidad/Lambda Pi Chi Sorority, Inc. was presented with an Award for:
"Outstanding Educational Programming for 2007-2008"
Some of the programs highlighted were:
Interfaith Relationships
S.T.E.P.S (Sisters Thriving to Enlighten the Perceptions of Sororities)
Political Racism
Personal Identification Workshop
These awards are based on nominations received from the University's Greek Community, Student Population, and University Faculty and Staff. This goes to show that Rho Chapter is making a GREAT impact on their community as a whole.
