The art form of stepping has been a part of Latinas Promoviendo Comunidad/ Lambda Pi Chi Sorority, Inc. since the beginning. Our founders began stepping to showcase our organization and introduce it to the Greek Community. Stepping has evolved over time and with it so has our involvement. Over nine years ago our National Step Team (NST) was officially formed and in 2002 the National Stroll Team was created. Both teams have performed in hundreds of shows and have won nearly 40 first place titles including the 2002 Silk Stroll Competition, the 2006 Latinosstep.com National Step Championship, the 2007 Batanga Beach Break Stroll Competition, and most recently, the 2010 "Silk & Smooth: The Reunion" Greekster Stroll Competition.
This recent Championship has officially made Lambda Pi Chi the leading sorority in first place wins.
We commend the Hermanas that are currently giving their time to make our NST such a success.
