As an Hermana of 19 years, I can say that being part of our growth and development has given me a unique opportunity to truly know the heart and soul of our Sorority – our Hermandad. Hermandad, our sisterhood, is the driving force behind everything we do – whether it is organizing a social event, working to advance our community, or educating others and ourselves about our culture. Hermandad is what keeps us committed to living up to our mission, and it is why almost 20 years later I am still actively involved, not just as National President, but as an Hermana.
